Privacy
This page explains what data Rallyrama uses, why, and how to delete it. Controller: Bluekind HoldCo SL (victor@bluekindholdco.com).
What we do not do
We do not ask for your real name, email or phone number. We do not use your GPS location. We do not sell data.
Ads (Google AdMob)
Rallyrama is free and shows Google AdMob ads: videos you choose to watch in exchange for something (for example, carrying on after a crash) and, now and then at most, an ad between races. They never interrupt a race. To show them, Google receives device data such as the advertising identifier (IDFA on iPhone, advertising ID on Android), the IP address, model and language, and how you interact with the ad. Google handles it under its policy: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
- Consent: in the European Union, the United Kingdom and other places where the law requires it, the app asks with Google's form whether you accept personalised ads. You can change it at any time in Settings, "Ad privacy".
- iPhone: the app asks permission for tracking (App Tracking Transparency). If you say no, the IDFA is not used.
- Without consent or permission, ads still show, but they are not personalised.
"No ads" purchase
You can remove ads with a one-time purchase. Apple or Google take the payment: we never receive your card or account details, only the confirmation of the purchase to unlock it on your phone. If you change phones, use "Restore purchases" in Settings.
What stays on your phone
Records, ghosts, car and settings are stored on your phone.
What reaches our server
- Player identifier: the app creates a random identifier and a key to talk to the server. It is not your advertising identifier.
- Nickname, if you choose one. It is public: it appears in rankings, challenges and your profile (rallyrama.com/en/piloto/your-nickname).
- Country and city that you choose, for zone rankings. To suggest them, and so that this website shows the rankings of your area first, we work out your approximate city from your IP address with the DB-IP database. The IP is only used at that moment: we do not store or log it.
- Laps: time, stage, car, car positions (to draw the ghost) and controls (to check the time). Laps in rankings and challenges are public.
- Challenges you create and answer.
- Notification token, if you turn notifications on, to tell you about challenges and ranking changes. Sent through Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) and, on iPhone, Apple Push Notification service.
- Feedback you send from the app (and your email, only if you type it).
- Updates: when it opens, the app asks for a new version and sends the platform, versions and a random device identifier.
- Technical logs (IP address, date), for at most 30 days, for security.
Why and on what basis
To run the rankings, challenges and notifications you ask for (performance of the service), to prevent cheating and abuse (legitimate interest) and, for personalised ads, with your consent. Notifications can be turned off in Settings or in the system.
How long
While you use the game. If you delete your data, all of it is deleted right away.
Delete your data
In the app: Settings, "Delete my data". It deletes your player, nickname, laps, challenges and notification tokens from the server. You can also ask at victor@bluekindholdco.com. More at delete data.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, objection and portability at victor@bluekindholdco.com, and complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
Children
We do not ask for personal data. We suggest not using your real name as a nickname.
